Research Statement:  My research interests are in using remote sensing data and quantitative modeling to inform wildlife management. My current research at Virginia Tech is using remote sensing acquired data to create predictive models for the occurrence of Bachman’s sparrow (Peucaea aestivalis) and other at-risk avian species with the hope of better informing their management.
