Research Interests: My research lies at the intersection of human dimensions and fisheries science, with a strong emphasis on data-informed strategies for sustainable fisheries management. I am particularly interested in how stakeholder behavior, data quality, and governance structures influence resource use and conservation outcomes across different geographies. My work primarily focuses on recreational fisheries in the United States, where I use statistical and spatial methods to explore angler diversity, discard behavior, and engagement with regulations in the summer flounder fishery. I also examine the reliability of fish landing data in West African coastal communities, highlighting how data limitations can impact management decisions. Through this work, I combine quantitative tools including multivariate statistics, spatial analysis (GIS), and stakeholder-informed insights to contribute to adaptive and inclusive fisheries management."
