Mariana Castaneda Guzman

Research Interests: I am studying data-driven ecological niche modeling methods that can reconstruct environmental conditions where the occurrences of data-limited organisms are more likely to occur. My main interests revolved around using data analytics, including remote sensing and big data analysis, to optimize the decision-making process regarding ecosystem management and climate change adaptation. As well as programming and R statistics to capture patterns from ecological data and develop simulations to test “what-if” scenarios of landscape and climate change.
