Research Statement: I am researching the American Horseshoe Crab population trends along the Atlantic Coast, specifically in the Delaware Bay to provide quantitative analysis for management of the species by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Council. Along with annual population estimates, I hope to create better models for analyzing trends in the population, CPUE, and multi-species analysis.
